How does the ChicMama dress rental work?

It’s simple and convenient:

1. Select Your Dress
Browse our collection online and choose your favourite style for your maternity photoshoot.
You’re also welcome to visit and try the dresses in person before making your final choice.

2. Reserve Your Date
Secure your booking via WhatsApp with a rental fee of CHF 140 per dress, which includes shipping to your address and professional cleaning after use.
If you’d like a personal styling session (complete outfit & accessories), the service fee is CHF 220.

3. Receive Your Dress
Your selected gown will arrive directly at your home — beautifully prepared and ready to wear for your photoshoot.

4. Return With Ease
Once your photoshoot is complete, simply send the dress back in the provided packaging or return it in person.
The standard rental period is 2 days from the shipping or pickup date.
Extended rentals are available for CHF 30 per additional day.

Can I try the dresses before renting?

Yes, absolutely. You are welcome to schedule a fitting appointment in Zürich to try on different gowns before making your selection.
This allows you to find the perfect fit, color, and style for your photoshoot.

How far in advance should I book my dress?

It’s best to book your dress 2–4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred style and date — especially during busy photoshoot seasons like spring and autumn.

How will I receive my rented dress?

Each dress is professionally and packaged before shipping.
You’ll receive it directly at your home address within Switzerland, ready to wear for your photoshoot.

How do I return the dress after my photoshoot?

You can simply mail the dress back in the provided prepaid packaging or return it in person in Zürich.
Just make sure the dress is returned within 2 days of the shipment/rental date.
If you need more time, you can extend your rental for CHF 30 per additional day.

What if the dress gets damaged or stained during my rental?

In case of minor wear or small marks, don’t worry — normal cleaning is already included in your rental fee.

However, if the dress is significantly damaged, torn, or permanently stained, the renter is responsible for covering the repair or replacement costs.
This can typically be reimbursed by your Swiss private liability insurance (Privathaftpflichtversicherung), which often covers accidental damages to rented items.

We’ll provide an invoice or confirmation document for your insurance claim if needed.

Do I need to clean the dress before returning it?

No — professional cleaning is included in your rental fee.
Please simply return the gown in the provided packaging without washing or ironing it yourself.

How long can I keep the dress?

The standard rental period is 2 days upon receipt/ collection of the dress.
If you’d like to keep the dress longer (for travel or multiple photoshoots), you can extend your rental for CHF 30 per extra day, depending on availability.

What’s included in the rental fee?

Your rental fee includes:

• Delivery of the dress to your Swiss address

• Professional cleaning after use

• Customer support before and after your photoshoot

For personalized styling and accessory coordination, an optional Styling Package (CHF 220) is available.

Can I rent accessories or combine items?

Yes, selected accessories such as flower crowns, wraps, or maternity jewelry can be rented as part of the personal styling package.
This helps create a complete, polished look for your photoshoot.
